Good Trouble Lives On
On July 17th, the anniversary of John Lewis’ passing, we will honor his legacy by making “Good Trouble” to protect our civil rights and free and fair elections once again. We call on the liberty-loving people of Massachusetts to gather at 4:30pm in Copley Square to march for freedom and join us at 6pm at Liberty Mall on Boston Common for a peaceful and powerful rally for democracy that will be heard from Beacon Hill to Washington, DC.

No Kings in Our Community
On July 4, 2025, we call on the people of Massachusetts to embrace the true spirit of Independence Day by celebrating freedom – and spreading the “No Kings” message – on the 249th anniversary of the original “No Kings” day.

Reparations Untold
On June 29, Mass 50501 is partnering with The New Democracy Coalition for a special viewing of REPARATIONS UNTOLD, a groundbreaking documentary on reparations.
Event starts at 1 PM.

Emergency Rally: Free David Huerta!
Mass 50501 vigorously condemns the violent actions of ICE and the Trump administration against peaceful protesters in Los Angeles and is mobilizing in solidarity with local union leaders here in Massachusetts.
Meet on Monday, June 9, at Boston City Hall Plaza at 1:30 PM for a rally from 2 PM to 3 PM.
No Kings On D-Day
Mass 50501 hosted a four-part event honoring veterans who served the United States while protesting cuts to the Veterans Administration and democratic backsliding.

Memorial Day Rally for a Dream
Calling all Massachusetts patriots to peacefully march from the USCIS office at City Hall Plaza to the Liberty Mall on the Boston Common to rally for statewide protections for immigrants and the Constitutional rule of law.

Hands Off Worcester Mothers
On Sunday, May 11th, hundreds gathered on Worcester Common for an emergency protest against ICE’s abduction of a Worcester mother and resident with the assistance of Worcester Police.

Hands Off Daniel Orellana
Join us for an emergency rally to support Daniel Orellana, a man with no criminal record taken by ICE in Framingham this week, and to ask our leaders here in Massachusetts to protect our community from ICE. The rally will begin at 6pm in front of the Framingham City Hall on Friday, May 9th.

Boston May Day
On May Day, labor and activists across the country gathered in solidarity to continue the fight to defend our rights, our values, and our democracy.

Stop The Abductions!
Friends and neighbors joined together on the South Coast for a program of speeches starting at 4PM, followed by a 5PM Rally with music from the Anti-Fascist Band.

60th Anniversary of the 1965 Freedom Rally
The year 2025 marks the 60th Anniversary of the 1965 Freedom Rally led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ruth Batson, Alan Gartner, Reverend Virgil Wood, and Dr. Ralph Abernathy. On April 26th, we proved that Boston remains a powerful force for freedom and human dignity, just as Dr. King saw it. Mass 50501 was proud to work with Embrace Boston as one of many partners in this historic event.

The Boston Marathon is more than a race. The marathon represents the defiance and resilience of the people. That is why we called on you to come turn the Boston Marathon into the biggest rally for democracy that America has ever seen.

Eastham: Save Democracy, Fight Back!
We toppled a king once before over tariffs; we’ll do it again! On April 19 we gathered together to celebrate the shot heard round the world and help save the democracy that began 250 years ago.
