You're invited to an exclusive viewing party for REPARATIONS UNTOLD, the groundbreaking documentary that explores the reparations movement in Boston and the broader push for social justice in the context of American democracy. This special event takes place at the historic Strand Theater in Dorchester and promises an afternoon of powerful storytelling and impactful interviews from some of Boston's most recognizable and respected figures.
Featuring Prominent Boston Voices
Speakers at the event include:
Sharra Owens, daughter of Massachusetts' first Black Senator, Bill Owens
City Councilor Tania Anderson, in one of her final and most significant public addresses while in office
Julia Mejia, delivering an epic declaration to the people amidst an engaged crowd
Former Councilor Charles Yancey
Tony VanDerMeer
And many more influential voices from the Boston community
The documentary is narrated by community activist and leader Rev. Kevin Peterson.
An Afternoon of Engagement
This is an in-person experience that includes a networking session and some of Boston’s top talent, including a live set by Dj Pup Dawg from Jamn'94.5 and performances by SoBlanc, Mathematics, Chanel567, Unknown Hype and many others!
