No Kings Boston Rally on March 28 Will take People Power to the Next Level
We the People are We the Powerful
What:
Organizers of No Kings Boston expect the biggest display of people power yet on March 28, 2026, as residents of the Commonwealth mobilize again to fight for a democracy that works for everyone—and against the authoritarian takeover of the United States.
The Boston event is part of the broader “No Kings Day,” during which millions of people nationwide and abroad will mobilize in nonviolent protest against the escalating corruption and abuses of the Trump administration. RSVP for No Kings Boston at https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/901135/.
Where and when:
1:00-2:00 pm: Pathways to Power
Organizers are inviting the public to fill the sidewalks en route to Boston Common with signs and flags, creating an unforgettable image of resistance rising. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation and exit the T or bus a few stops early.
2:00-4:00 pm: Rally on Boston Common
The rally will feature a program of inspiring speakers and performances. Details to be announced in the coming weeks.
1:00 to 4:00 pm: Take Action
Dozens of local advocacy groups will be tabling on the Common, sharing opportunities to engage in pro-democracy actions across the Commonwealth. No Kings participants will be encouraged to take the “We the Powerful Pledge” and commit to taking at least one action each week to strengthen our democracy.
Why:
History has shown that mass mobilization is vital to block authoritarianism from taking hold. The Trump administration is trying to shred the Constitution; the No Kings movement is an unequivocal statement that we, the people, will not let that happen. This will be the third global No Kings Day, and it’s not just about protesting what’s wrong—it’s about building something better. We intend to show our power, build our power, and power a democracy that advances freedom, equality, justice, and dignity for all.
All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
Who:
No Kings Boston is organized by a coalition of the ACLU of Massachusetts, Indivisible Mass Coalition, and Mass 50501 (“fifty-fifty-one”), plus partners from across the pro-democracy and pro-worker movement.
