No Kings Boston Announces Speakers, Performers and Art at Boston Common Protest Rally on March 28
Organizers of the No Kings Boston rally, expected to draw more than 100,000 people to Boston Common this Saturday from 2-4 p.m., announced their inspiring lineup of speakers and performers. The Boston rally will be the Commonwealth’s biggest display of people power yet, as “We the Powerful” mobilize en masse in nonviolent protest against the authoritarian takeover of the United States and for a democracy that works for everyone. Art as Resistance:
Because art is a form of resistance, there will be two impressive installations on the Common during the rally.
Chainsaw artist Kat Dressler will be carving a 24-foot-long by 5-foot-high “END ICE” ice sculpture.
Rallygoers are invited to paint their personal commitment to pro-democracy actions on a 45-foot-long by 6-foot-high interactive “We the Powerful” mural.
